I am writing to request permission to attend the First Aid Response Course offered by Bartholemew Hospital in July.

Currently, we do not have anyone in our office who is qualified to administer basic first aid in the case of an emergency. I believe that I could fulfill this role. Having surveyed the various courses available, Bartholomew Hospital seems to offer the most professional training. The trainer is a former head doctor.

The duration of the course is three days (July 5 – July 7) and the cost per participant is $500. Certificates are awarded to successful participants.

I can confirm that I am able to manage my workload so that I can free myself up for those dates.

Please let me know your decision before the cut-off date to sign up, which is May 20.
