The Car Salesman

As a car salesman, I earn a basic salary, but I make most of my money on commission, so the more cars that I sell, the more money I make. It’s a great incentive to work as hard as possible to sell those cars. Every salesperson has their tips and techniques and I have mine. First, you need to build rapport with the customer; that’s why small talk is important. Next, you need to have a strong understanding of the person’s needs and be able to match them to a vehicle. Finally, you need to be able to close a sale. You should never let a potential customer walk away and tell you they’ll think it over – you need to close the deal there and then. If you can build up this skill set, then you too can be a successful salesperson.
