Watch Out for Scams

It seems that the world is full of people attempting to cheat you out of your money. In fact, a friend of mine recently fell victim to a scam. He was duped into passing his bank details to a man from Eastern Europe. He received an email from him stating there was a problem with his account. The police say it is very unlikely he will ever see the money again.

Another common scam is when people are told that they have won millions in the lottery, but they need to pay a small ‘processing fee’ to receive the money. Amazingly, some people fall for this scam even if they have never entered a lottery.

These are just two examples; there are numerous other scams out there. So be careful because the world is full of con men out to make a quick buck.
