Present Perfect Keywords 1/4
Another way to approach the present perfect tense is to look at keywords. There are a few keywords that we associate with the present perfect tense. (Note: These words can sometimes be used with other tenses too.)
Example 1: FOR
I have lived here for four years.
Example 2: SINCE
I have lived here since 2010.
Example 3: ALREADY
Sean has already left.
Example 4: YET
He has not left yet.
